Triple concentrated tomato paste
This tube contains the full flavour of tomatoes. Our tomato paste is made only from sun-ripened tomatoes from the Parma region. We peel and de-seed them before thickening them in a vacuum so that their aroma and nutritional value is preserved. With triple concentrated tomato paste, this process ensures that at the end, our product contains at least 36% of dry mass - a real taste explosion with a large quantity of valuable lycopin, which can be absorbed particularly well by the body.
Ideal for: red and brown sauces, pasta dishes, fish, meat, rice and vegetables.

Cooking with tomato paste
Tomato paste is the very essence of the tomato. In no other product will you find the taste and aroma of tomatoes so clearly focused. But only when the tomatoes fulfil our strict requirements - which they can't do if they are cultivated in hothouses. This is what makes the ORO di Parma tomato paste such essential ingredient in Italian cuisine. Because our tomatoes can ripen in the powerful Parma sun before we concentrate them two or three times. You can fry the tomato paste in the pan with other ingredients, or use it to thicken, concentrate and intensify sauces.
